patio garden

I'm interrupting the Maine posts once again for a quick little post on the subject of cherry tomatoes!! :-) I can't wait until morning to see if they've ripened since last Thursday when we left for Chicago.

This picture was taken last Wednesday afternoon of one of my two cherry tomato plants (I also have two tomato plants of the celebrity variety). I've acquired quite a lovely potted garden out on our patio. We have three basil plants - Cuban, Sweet, and Mini Purple. In addition to the basil and tomatoes (do I sense some caprese salads in my future??), you will also find in my garden two rosemary plants, two chive plants, oregano, sage, thyme, parsley, dill, and assorted flowers such as petunias, marigolds, dianthus, nemesia, and bluebells.

I can't wait to see how everything has grown since I've been gone :-)
